Because I’m only seeing other Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven’t seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our communities. We’re worried, and we need people to know what’s happening to us.
None of the major news outlets are running it. I had to Google it. Everyone is so distracted by the rest of the nation’s fuckery right now.

So what this paint company does is take iron pollution from abandoned mines that are polluting soils and rivers and makes iron based red pigment paints out of it.
Basically they realized hey no one’s cleaning this shit up, it’s polluting the streams, killing all the fish, making the water undrinkable and there’s a huge market for it so why not make money by cleaning it the fuck up?
They remove this stuff by the industrial bucket load from the rivers. The idea is if it’s in a painting, if it’s in your home, it’s not poisoning wildlife.

I’ve said before but I lost my home, was abused and drugged, thrust into debt and suffered a miscarriage this year. It is exhausting to constantly rehash my personal trauma in order to get some attention/assistance and I’ve had a very lonely few months. The Long Kiss Goodnight has a piece of clothing with blinking lights, close-ups of flickering flames, and rapidly-changing imagery all immediately following a car accident. Soon after, there is a dream sequence with harsh lightning strobes, which occur again throughout a flashback sequence in the middle of a torture scene. A late scene involves bright muzzle flashes from machine guns in dark environments, creating severe strobe effects. Emergency vehicle strobe lights are shown at night in one scene.
A few scenes take place in moving vehicles. There are multiple scenes of peril at extreme heights.
Flashing Lights: 9/10. Motion Sickness: 2/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: A nervous man randomly vomits on-screen early in the film, about 8 minutes in. A child is kidnapped in a church.

Jesus fucking Christ dude. A house show in Minneapolis got shot up. Two guys walked up, unloaded into the crowd, and ran off. One dead and six injured.
Yeah. Okay. News stories were kinda making it sound like it was more Senseless Minneapolis Urban Violence, but folks that were there are saying this seems like a targeted attack on the venue and the scene for being trans positive. My fucking hometown scene got hit by a fucking terror attack.

does anyone know if i can like block sites from appearing in my google images searches??? i keep getting those awful ai generated things with a hand coming out of a man’s neck and just straight up not what i was looking for, because this was in a search for “curly hair in medieval paintings”. it happens every time i search for anything vaguely art-reference-like and it’s so fucking annoying and it clutters my search results so much. i don’t wanna add specific commands to the query every time too, what i need is like a browser extension or something
